The details are coming together

Details for Romania are slowly coming my way. I still don’t know when I will be returning home, but I know that International Messengers is working to get the entire team to meet at O’Hare so that we can make the international flight together early in the day on July 16th. My flight will be booked in early May.

It is a 5-hour bus trip from the airport in Timisosra to the camp site. We will land in Timisoara on the 17thand spend the rest of that day (Friday) and all day Saturday at River of Life Care Home out side of town, resting (Overcoming jetlag) and organizing plans for the week at camp.
We will make the 5-hour trip on Sunday the 19th after worship. Camp starts Sunday evening at dinnertime. Ministry will be fast pace once we get started. I am not sure the age group of my campers yet. I am hoping for the 4 to10 year olds. It was made known to me early that they need volunteers for evening events. I am hoping to head up icebreaker night.
Camp will end on the 26th and we will head back to Timisoara, spending the 27th wrapping things up as a team. Most of the team will be heading home on the 28, but a few others and I will be saying a few extra days at the Care Home for VBS and a structured teaching time with the staff, moms and children.
My support has come togrther slowly.. I am waiting on a quote for tickets to see how much more I need to come up with, but it looks like I will need is to cover is luggage fees and materials for my time at the Care Home. More details will be made know over the coming weeks, as well as while I am in training for 3 days in June.
